Alright i am not too into the whole musical movies but i loved this movie. It was great, Queen Latifa was awesome, the main character was new but she did great, and of course John Travolta delivered yet another spectaculay performance. Although they didn't get the awards that they should have they all did a great job and i would reccommend everyone to see this movie. It is just a truth but down to earth movie that deals with real issues but doesn't make it boring.

OMG ZAC EFRON IS SOOO HOTTTTTTTTT!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!! Ya'll know it's true!! haha, but seriously, the movie wasn't as good as I expected it to be after all of the commotion going on about it, but I guess that I set my expectations too high just as I always do, I still give it a huge THUMBS UP!!!!

I LOVED THIS MOVIE. Zac Efron iss soo gooddd. i also lovedddddd Amanda Bynes. I didnt really like the main girl. but i did love this movie.. i already seen it once and im going back tomorrow to see it a second time :]]

I saw Hairspray on broadway. the movie SUCKED compared to teh show. they skipped out on 4 good songs. TWO of then being my favorite and whats up with amanda bynes? shes a horrible singer.

Awesome movie!! My daughter and I loved it!! John Travolta is the best! Go see it! If you do not like musicals, this is not the movie for you.

Hairspray is out of this world. I saw it last year on Broadway. I also saw RENT, Wicked and Mama Mia. It was my least davorite of the 4 but I loved it none the less. The movie, I expected to be just like the show...but boy was I wrong. THe movie, for once, was much better than the play. Zac Efron is amazing, as is the rest of the cast. Nikki Blonsky is wonderful and so animated. John, just another awesome performance. Before the movie, I said to my friends "gosh...Zac Efron? He isn't good enough to be in Hairspray." But by the time it was over, I was in love!! He blew me away....MUCH BETTER THAN HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL let me tell you that! Best movie of the year, 5 stars and two thumbs way WAY up!

GREAT MOVIE i loved it me and my mom laughed almost the whole time.I def. reccomend you go see it! GREAT MOVIE!!!!! It is now my favorite movie

Better than Great. This is the Feel Good Movie of the Year. John is over the Top in this one. Everyone in this Movie does a Great Job. If you want to have a good time just go this Movie. Don't forget the Popcorn and Coke. Regards, HK

excellente! i saw it we 3 friends and one of their moms. zac efron is so hott in this movie, i went "ow!" when he said his name on that show the first time. :] but this movie is truly inspiring. five stars.

After seeing the cast on the Today show and hearing about the movie all week, I am happy to say that Hairspray certainly lived up to all its glowing reviews. Two thumbs up for Travolta, Queen Latifa, Walkins, and, most especially Ms. Blonsky who was an exceptional "Tracy". It was truly a fun "family" show with many worthwhile messages.
