O my god. This movie was awesome. Alot more darker than the first Narnia. I like this alot better than the first one. It should of been rated pg-13 but I saw alot of little kids in there. I give this movie 5 stars.
This was a great change to all of the others movies that were currently out. This reminds me about movies I grew as a kid watching, like the original Never Ending Story. It gave me a better imaginary feeling than any of the Harry Potter movies (not hating all of them.) This all without seeing the first Narnia... Not sure that I will, it may spoil the fun!!!
The movie was very interesting to watch. I would recomend seeing the movie, but not after reading the book. It strayed from the book much more than desired. Also it took place in only like four locations.
Oh my god, I took my 8-year old daughter to see a war movie? This was Troy, Braveheart and Gladiator rolled into one but without blood. Plenty of dying though. Over 2 hrs of sword fighting and shooting arrows at one another. How sweet. Thanks Disney, I should have taken a clue from the first Narnia.
This movie was impressive. Everything was really good. It was adventurous and action packed and kept you hanging in many parts. And of course Aslan comes back. WOOHOO!!! Yeah, the only thing was that there was romance then action then mystery then anger and betrayal, so it was confusing!!! Have fun, and its kid safe!!!!!!
It was a great story but it lacked the majesty of the first. The tone of the story was dark and it seemed to barely cling to the hopefulness and nobility that permeated the first movie. The lessons regarding pride and lack of faith were much more transparent also. Despite all that, I was entertained and interested all the time and was drawn into the fantasy as I should have been.
three stars
this is mainly because I believe this is a nice family movie for an epic tale.
It does not break the mould however.
The acting is not the best I have seen and the rhythm is off. A little boring, a little longish.
A bit disappointing. But visually very satisfying if you like those kind of effects
this movie was really good but for some reason i wasnt as in to it as i thought i would be.it didnt seem to blow me away as the first one did. the movie was really good and the acting was amazing. i like how the young actors can act like siblings even though they arent in real life. it just amazies me.
