See the trailer--you'll notice a big Busby Berkeley (look him up) dance number with thousands of chihuahuas singing and dancing. IT ISN'T IN THE FILM!!! I waited for the credits to finish, thinking it would be included. Nada. After all the animation was done, why not include it in the finished film? Mildly funny--for kids and dimwit adults.
Really funny movie for kids and adults! I was cracking up throughout the movie. The kids also had a good laugh. I highly recommend this movie to everyone!
O.K., so you're thr parent of young children who are incessantly squawking at you to rush out and see this movie, but you don't want to make the time and money sacrifice required to sit through an hour-and-a-half of boredom. Take a deep breath, relax, take the brats, and enjoy the show.rn I took my seven-year-old under the same preconceptions, and was pleasantly surprised by a smart, funny, and good-looking film. rn Once the movie has been set up, the results are predictable (think: 101 Dalmatians); but getting to the predicted result is where the fun lies. There are plenty of laugh-out-loud episodes resulting from the antics of the cast of four-legged characters. I was pleasantly surprised.
