This is not the first or the best "Hitman wanting to quit" movie ever made, but it holds up on its own. Decent action and Cage is his usual best. The downfalls are that the story becomes too predictable and even though Cages' character shows that he has combat skills, he never really uses them. I was hoping that even the 'Hits' themselves would have been more unique. All in all, check this out if you like these type of movies or if you're just a Cage fan. 3 stars only because I couldn't chose 2 1/2.
Cage is good in anything. Filmed in Bangkok. Pretty violent. Plot is he is an assassin hired to kill 4 people in Bangkok. Kills 3 and noit happy about killing fourth. People who hired him are upset. Shooting starts. Very interesting surprise ending.
Better than I was expecting it to be but to be honest, I wasn't expecting much. It was certainly entertaining but seemed like it was going for something it couldn't get. Almost like a John Woo "wannabe" movie. It left a lot of loose ends I thought and the story didn't seem finished. I know a lot of that sounds bad but if you have nothing else going on and feel like seeing a movie - you will most likely enjoy it.
