This explosive frenetic film has many edgy elements. Great art direction and set design and great performances by all the actors involved. And yet I get so bored of the same old scenario of creating a bad guy so we can annihilate him. This movie has the red flags of formulaic writing all over it. And if these formulas are easily recongnizable to you, this film may leave you empty. Bad guy gets blown up, picked-on under-dog makes good and doles out the violence even better than his nemesis. Albert Einstein once said that you can't fix a problem using the same level of intelligence that created it. This is a good example. No new ground covered here.
